Google Calendar Up Threefold Since June

LeeAnn Prescott (Former Research Director, Hitwise):” As you resolve to get your schedule more organized in the new year, do what more and more people are doing – use Google Calendar. Windows Live Calendar Live

Windows Live Calendar is now live. As I mentioned before I’m not too impressed with the efforts from Microsoft. On a scale from 1 to 10 I would say Microsoft moved their online calendar app from a 3 to a 4.

Windows Live Calendar beta Launches

Windows Live Calendar is now beta-open. Compared to the old calendar some necessary progrees was made. New features include:

  • Share calendars
  • Set reminders
  • Import calendars (although it is still not possible to subscribe to calendars)

The interface seems more intuitive. All in all good improvements but still I miss features like: event search, email integration, SYNCML, off line access and the option to subscribe to calendars.

Mashable’s Kristen Nicole reviewed Windows Live Calendar.
